Business Analyst - IT

- The IT Business Analyst (IT BA) is responsible for identifying, defining, and translating business needs into effective IT solutions.

- The role acts as a key interface between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, ensuring alignment between business strategy and technical solutions.

- The position may operate within an IT project environment or as an individual contributor supporting business operations.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Prior Trading experience

- Energy Commodities domain exposure (Crude Oil mandatory; Products preferred)

- Endur experience (v14 / v11) - mandatory

Purpose & Accountabilities:

- Identify and define business requirements, ensuring solutions address business needs and challenges.

- Link technical solutions with business strategy while collaborating closely with business partners.

- Apply awareness of industry and competitor IT solutions to drive competitive advantage.

- Lead stakeholder management activities, building trust and ensuring stakeholders feel valued.

- Provide interpretive, advisory, and facilitation support using deep domain and technical knowledge.

- Actively contribute to and develop best practices, templates, and frameworks, serving as an SME where applicable.

- Participate in industry and professional BA forums ( IIBA) and share learnings internally.

- Support regional and community initiatives through leadership, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
