Business Analyst - IT

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business needs, analyzing processes and data, and delivering actionable insights and well-defined requirements to support business and technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements

- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements

- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD),

and user stories

- Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and workflow documentation

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA, and UX teams throughout the SDLC

- Support UAT planning and execution, including test case reviews and defect triage

- Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities

- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement review sessions

- Track requirements through development and ensure traceability

- Assist in change management and impact analysis

- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or related field

- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst

- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies

- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and managing backlogs

- Proficiency in documentation and modeling tools (MS Visio, Confluence, JIRA)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities

- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise documentation
