Role Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and interpreting business requirements, analysing operational processes, and identifying opportunities and risks to support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement digital and process solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen risk controls, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders

- Evaluate existing business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization

- Translate business needs into clear, actionable solutions for technology and operations teams

- Work closely with Scrum teams to ensure effective delivery in Agile environments

- Identify operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies

- Support implementation of digital initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

- Facilitate stakeholder workshops, meetings, and requirement review sessions

- Ensure solutions align with regulatory and compliance standards within the financial services domain

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across business functions

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment

- Strong background in Financial Services, specifically:

- Investment Banking Operations (Reconciliation, Settlements, Middle Office) OR

- Fund Accounting

- Experience working in regulated environments with a strong risk and controls mindset

- Proven experience in defining and operationalizing digital/process solutions for operational efficiency

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Relevant certifications such as CBAP are an added advantage
