
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance to join an innovative team developing AI-powered insurance solutions.
In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze insurance workflows, define business requirements, and help implement intelligent automation across the insurance lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct discovery workshops with client stakeholders to understand end-to-end P&C insurance processes.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for policy administration and insurance operations.
- Map business workflows including Submission Intake, Rating & Quote Generation, Policy Checking, Policy Issuance, and Certificate of Insurance (COI) Processing.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for engineering teams.
- Map insurance data between standard forms (ACORD, ISO, NAIC) and Agency Management Systems.
- Define Human-in-the-Loop workflows and exception handling for AI-driven processes.
- Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documents and support testing with business users.
- Act as the key liaison between insurance domain experts and product/engineering teams.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Insurance Operations Specialist, or Account Manager within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the following Agency Management Systems: Applied Epic, AMS360, or HawkSoft.
- Strong understanding of Commercial P&C Insurance workflows.
- Experience with Policy Checking, Quote Generation, Certificate of Insurance (COI), ACORD Forms, and Insurance Documentation.
- Excellent requirement gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with AI, automation, or digital transformation projects.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Knowledge of insurance data standards and business process automation.
