Reporting Manager: Head (General Insurance)

Location: Hyderabad

Work Week: Work from Office, 5 Days a week, Mon to Fri

Qualification: Engineering graduates

Minimum Experience Required: 3 to 5 years in Motor or Fire/Marine LOB with exposure to data.

Domain Experience: General Insurance

Function: Underwriting/Claims/Analytics

Expertise: Motor or Fire & Marine Cargo and basic understanding of Marine Hull, Engineering, Liability, Surety and other Miscellaneous Classes of General Insurance

Role Summary:

- Ethical Judgement: Recognizing the ethical implications of data usage, storage, and analysis, especially in terms of privacy and security.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills: Clearly convey findings, both written and orally, to all stakeholders.

- Problem Solving: Have a systematic and logical approach to problem-solving.
Coming up with solutions to business problems using data-driven approaches.

- Critical thinking: Ability to approach problems logically and make informed decisions based on the data.

- Attention to Details: Ensuring accuracy in data and recognizing anomalies or errors in data.

- Teamwork: Collaborating with other departments or teams, understanding their needs, and providing them with relevant support.

- Expanding the Reach of Products: Active involvement with Business Acumen as a Key Account Manager.

Essential Skills:

- Data management tools like Excel, SQL (intermediary to advance level), and exposure to data visualization mechanisms.

- Product conceptualization, development, and launching.

- Understanding of Databases, APIs & Business.

- Exposure to Project Management tools/skills and documentation.

- Knowledge of Modeling techniques & tools (R, Python etc.) would be a plus.

- Follow-up and coordination skills
