About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst with strong functional expertise in Global Payments and Banking Systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in large-scale transformation projects, a deep understanding of cross-border payment flows, and proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders across multiple regions.

This role demands a balance of domain depth and business analysis excellence to ensure successful delivery within a global banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead functional analysis for payment transformation initiatives within global banking programs.

- Partner with business and technology teams to define requirements, analyze current-state processes, and design future-state solutions.

- Act as a domain expert on payment systems, standards, and global transaction workflows.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams across geographies to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

- Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and documentation of functional specifications.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to validate solutions, manage change requests, and ensure smooth implementation.

- Contribute to strategic decisions regarding payments architecture, process optimization, and regulatory compliance.

Must-Have Skills & Expertise:

Domain Expertise:

- Deep understanding of Global Payments and Banking (Indian domestic banking experience not applicable).

- Proven knowledge of MT/MX messaging, Cross-Border Payments, and Payments Lifecycle Management.

- Expertise in SWIFT, ISO20022, and Clearing & Settlement Processes.

Payments Systems Knowledge:

- Hands-on experience with systems like GPP, VolPay, C2P, T24, or similar.

- Thorough understanding of end-to-end payment flows and transaction processing.

Business Analysis Experience:

- Minimum 12 years of core Business Analysis experience in global banking or financial services.

- Involvement in 1-2 large-scale transformation projects as a Functional BA, PM, or Hybrid role.

Additional Skills:

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.

- Demonstrated experience in collaborating with global, cross-functional teams.
