Role Summary:

We are seeking a high-caliber Business Analyst EUC Risk Reduction to lead mission-critical initiatives aimed at identifying and mitigating risks within End User Computing (EUC) tools. In this specialized role, you will act as a "Technical Remediation Architect," deconstructing complex spreadsheets, VBA macros, and bots used across business functions to assess operational and financial risks. Unlike traditional project management roles, this position is deeply analytical and hands-on, requiring mandatory VBA expertise and a "Risk-First" mindset. You will serve as the strategic bridge between business units and IT, performing gap analyses and proposing automation or migration strategies to transition fragile user-developed tools into controlled, institutional-grade technology platforms.

Responsibilities:

- EUC Identification & Rationalization: Identify and catalog critical EUCsincluding complex spreadsheets, VBA macros, and local botsused throughout high-stakes business processes.

- Risk Assessment & Profiling: Evaluate EUCs for operational, financial, and data integrity risks, identifying potential points of failure in logic, assumptions, or dependencies.

- Remediation Strategy Development: Propose and design strategic options for risk reduction, including tool simplification, process automation, or full migration to enterprise-level platforms.

- VBA & Python Automation: Utilize mandatory VBA skills to audit and refactor existing macros; leverage Python (preferred) to automate data analysis and modernize legacy workflows.

- Process Mapping & Gap Analysis: Perform detailed process mapping and impact assessments for EUC-dependent workflows to identify opportunities for standardization.

- Technical Requirement Translation: Act as a bridge between business users and IT teams, translating manual user processes into formal technical requirements for system migration.

- Documentation Standards: Assist in defining and enforcing documentation standards for critical EUCs, ensuring the underlying logic and data lineage are transparent and auditable.

- Insight Reporting & Dashboards: Develop risk summaries and interactive dashboards to provide stakeholders with visibility into the EUC risk landscape and remediation progress.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with global captive teams and IT to drive the modernization of user-built tools, ensuring compliance with global banking risk standards.

Technical Requirements:

- BFSI Domain Expertise: Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Banking or Financial Services sector, with a deep understanding of operational risk.

- VBA Mastery (Mandatory): Hands-on ability to read, write, and debug complex VBA macros used in financial modeling or data processing.

- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python for automation or data analysis is highly preferred.

- Analytical Toolkit: Expert-level skills in data analysis, gap analysis, and process streamlining.

- Modernization Exposure: Experience collaborating with IT to replace manual EUCs with automated systems, RPA tools, or low-code/no-code platforms.

Preferred Experience:

- Process Improvement: Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean methodologies applied to financial services.

- Automation Tools: Exposure to RPA (UiPath, Blue Prism) or Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).

- Environment: Experience working within Global Captive Centers (GCC) or large-scale banking environments.
