This individual will work closely with various departments within the university to understand their unique ERP requirements, translate these needs into system functionalities, and liaise with the ERP vendor to ensure the implementation meets the university's needs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills, along with a deep understanding of ERP systems and the needs of higher education institutions. Responsibilities: - Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with university departments to identify and document their specific ERP requirements, considering unique processes, workflows, and reporting needs. - Analysis and Documentation: Analyze collected data to create comprehensive and well-structured documentation, including business process diagrams, use cases, and functional requirements. - Functional Specification: Translate departmental requirements into detailed functional specifications that the chosen ERP vendor can use to configure or develop the system. - Project Management: Assist in project planning, defining milestones, and ensuring the ERP implementation project stays on track and within budget. - Quality Assurance: Collaborate with university stakeholders and the vendor to ensure that the ERP system meets the defined functional requirements, conducting regular testing and troubleshooting. - User Training and Support: Provide training and support to university staff and end-users on how to use the ERP system effectively. - Change Management: Work with departments to manage the change associated with the new ERP system, including identifying and mitigating potential issues. - Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain reporting solutions within the ERP system, providing insights and data-driven decisions to university leadership. - Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Create user guides, training materials, and other relevant documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and user adoption.
