Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in Corporate or Wholesale Banking, specializing in customer onboarding, KYC processes, and digital journeys. The ideal candidate will drive the digitization of onboarding workflows, streamline customer experiences, and support technology teams in delivering scalable, compliant, and seamless digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering:

- Engage with stakeholders to understand end-to-end onboarding processes, pain points, and compliance requirements (KYC, AML, FATCA, etc.).

- Document as-is and to-be processes using BPM tools or process mapping techniques.

- Capture detailed business and functional requirements for digital onboarding journeys, including forms, validations, e-signatures, and document management.

- Define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in line with Agile practices.

Customer Journey & UX Optimization:

- Design and document customer personas, journey maps, and use cases across various corporate client segments (SME, large corporates, MNCs).

- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to improve the digital onboarding interface and experience.

- Conduct gap analysis and recommend process or platform enhancements.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Act as a bridge between business, compliance, product, and technology teams to ensure alignment of onboarding initiatives.

- Facilitate workshops, JAD sessions, and walkthroughs with key stakeholders.

Project & Delivery Support:

- Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and tech leads to ensure timely and quality delivery.

- Support UAT planning and execution, create test scenarios, and help validate that requirements are met.

- Track issues, gather feedback, and assist in continuous improvement cycles.

Regulatory & Compliance Understanding:

- Work closely with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure solutions adhere to local and international regulations (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, MAS, RBI, etc.).

- Map onboarding journeys to internal policies on KYC, customer due diligence (CDD), and data retention.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Domain Knowledge:

- 5-10 years of experience as a BA in Corporate/Wholesale Banking, preferably in onboarding, customer lifecycle management, or digital banking.

- Strong understanding of KYC, AML, e-signature, digital identity, and onboarding regulations.

- Familiarity with Trade Finance, Cash Management, Loans, or Treasury Services is a plus.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, Excel.

- Experience with workflow automation, API integration, or low-code/no-code platforms.

- Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into business language.

Methodologies:

- Strong experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Skilled in writing user stories, conducting backlog grooming, and participating in sprint planning.

Soft Skills:

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

- Analytical thinking with an eye for detail.

- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Nice-to-Have:

- Experience in Digital Identity Verification platforms (e.g., Jumio, Onfido, Signzy).

- Familiarity with Open Banking APIs and digital onboarding for multi-country operations.

- BA certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) or Agile certifications (CSPO, SAFe).
