Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development / Business Analyst (Presales) professional with deep expertise in the Cards domain (Issuing & Acquiring) to drive end-to-end presales activities, solutioning, and business growth. The role involves working closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and delivery teams to design innovative, regulatory-compliant, and technology-driven solutions that meet evolving business needs in the payments and cards ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Presales Solutioning & Bid Management
- Lead the creation of compelling RFP/RFI responses, ensuring alignment with client requirements, compliance standards, and competitive positioning.
- Develop detailed Proof of Concept (PoC) and Proof of Value (PoV) solutions showcasing technical feasibility and business impact.
- Collaborate with product, technology, and delivery teams to define solution architectures, functional flows, and integration approaches.
Business Development & Client Engagement
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the cards issuing and acquiring domain.
- Build strong client relationships with C-level executives, product heads, and procurement teams.
- Conduct product demonstrations, concept presentations, and workshops to influence decision-making.
Domain Expertise & Advisory
- Provide expert consultation on card issuing systems, transaction processing, authorization flows, settlement & reconciliation, EMV compliance, and digital payments innovations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies (e.g., tokenization, contactless payments, AI fraud detection), and regulatory frameworks (RBI, PCI-DSS, GDPR).
Stakeholder & Process Management
- Work with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to ensure alignment between client expectations and delivery capabilities.
- Apply Design Thinking principles to create customer-centric, innovative solutions.
Key Requirements
- Strong domain expertise in Cards Issuing & Acquiring lifecycle (onboarding, transaction processing, fraud management, loyalty programs).
- Proven experience in presales solutioning, bid management, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in creating functional specifications, solution blueprints, and workflow diagrams.
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent in Business / Marketing / IT Management.
- Experience in Agile project management and Design Thinking frameworks.
- Familiarity with API-based integrations, cloud-native payment solutions, and open banking platforms.
