Business Analyst - BFSI

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, and the ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.

You will play a critical role in driving process improvements, digital transformations, and the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for new initiatives or enhancements.

- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and User Stories for Agile projects.

- Work closely with technical teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.

- Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder meetings, and UAT sessions.

- Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and feasibility studies for new solutions.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization.

- Support the development, testing, and implementation phases of projects.

- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and dashboards for business and management teams.

- Act as the primary point of contact between business users and IT teams.

- Assist in risk identification, impact analysis, and change management.

Required Skills & Competencies

- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT, Banking, Finance, or similar domains.

- Strong skills in requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.

- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint.

- Knowledge of SQL or basic data analysis is a plus.

- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to business process automation, ERP, or CRM implementations.

- Experience in data-driven decision-making and reporting tools.

- Knowledge of industry standards such as BABOK or CBAP certification
