Business Analyst

POSITION DETAILS:

Position Title: Business Analyst

Reports To: Director - Corporate Strategy

Experience: 1-3 Years

Location: Bangalore

Team Size: Individual Contributor

Education: B.Tech/MBA from a Tier 1 institute

Knowledge & Skills Required:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field

- 1 to 2.5 years of experience in a similar role as a Business Analyst.

- Certifications in business analysis, power BI, or SQL would be a plus.

- Strong business analysis skills with the ability to understand and document complex business processes.

- Resourceful self-starter; ability to work autonomously

- Ability to coach/mentor team members and effectively lead & manage any initiatives assigned

- Exposure in Finance is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Analytics & Problem Solving:

- Analyze business operations, workflows, and data to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to enhance productivity and optimize business performance

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and technical documentation

- Design and develop reports and dashboards using MS Excel to provide insightful and actionable business insights

- Query and analyze data from various sources using Excel to extract valuable insights and support decision-making processes

- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements and functional specifications

- Assessing and identifying areas for improvement in the company's present business processes

- Modernizing systems by investigating and evaluating new IT developments and contemporary business practices

- Presenting concepts and results at meetings

Collaboration & Training:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and project managers to ensure successful implementation of solutions

- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes

- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to business analysis, data analysis, and reporting

- Adhere to project timelines, deliver high-quality work, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
