Role Overview:
As a Business Analyst, your core responsibility is to understand and address customer needs by:
- Analyzing and documenting business requirements
- Configuring and implementing use cases
- Ensuring the delivered solutions align with customer value propositions
- Youll work closely with customers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable solutions that deliver tangible value.
Core Responsibilities:
Customer-Facing Activities:
- Customer Need Analysis: Conduct interviews, workshops, and research to gather and document business requirements.
- Use Case Analysis: Translate requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
- Value Proposition Analysis: Collaborate with Product Owners to define business value based on customer goals.
- Customer-Driven Prioritization: Maintain a prioritized backlog based on customer impact.
- Continuous Feedback Loop: Act as the main liaison between customers and internal teams during the development lifecycle.
- Solution Validation & Metrics: Define and track performance metrics to evaluate delivered solutions.
- Product Demos & Training: Support teams in delivering demos and training based on customer pain points.
- Prototyping & Mockups: Develop conceptual designs for validation.
- Customer Data Analysis: Analyze product usage data to identify improvement areas.
Project & Collaboration Activities:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align customer needs with technical capabilities.
- Project Management: Monitor deliverables to ensure timely project completion.
- Requirements Analysis: Facilitate communication between customers and internal stakeholders.
- Domain Expertise: Become an expert in at least one product domain area.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on customer engagement and satisfaction
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to customers and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience in Agile methodologies and software product lifecycles
- Capable of owning small, well-scoped workflows and configurations
- Strong project tracking and decision-making skills
- Creative problem-solver with a customer-first mindset
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of relational database concepts and data management
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture)
- Understanding of event-driven architecture (EDA)
