Role: Business Analyst
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 6-12 Months+ (Possibility of Contract-to-Hire)
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote India (Once permanent, Hybrid 3xdays onsite in Hyderabad)
Requirements:
- 35 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
- Strong in requirements gathering, gap analysis, and functional specification writing
- Skilled in business process modeling and identifying process improvements
- Experience working in Agile teams and participating in ceremonies (standups, grooming, etc.)
- Proficient with JIRA, Confluence, and documentation tools
- Ability to support testing through test case creation and validation
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Business Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you'll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, processes are optimized, and solutions are aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements, define functional specifications, and perform gap analysis
- Conduct business process modeling, identify areas for improvement, and recommend optimized solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to translate business needs into actionable items
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
- Create and maintain user stories, use cases, and process flows in tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Support testing efforts by defining test cases, validating deliverables, and assisting in UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
- Communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure documentation is clear, up-to-date, and accessible for cross-functional teams
Required Skills:
- 35 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role
- Strong expertise in requirements gathering, gap analysis, and writing functional specifications
- Experience with business process modeling and identifying process improvement opportunities
- Hands-on experience working in Agile development teams
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and other documentation platforms
- Ability to create and validate test cases and support various testing phases
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
- Knowledge of industry-specific business processes (e.g., Finance, Healthcare, Retail, etc.)
- Exposure to data analysis or familiarity with SQL/Excel for basic data validation
- Experience working with remote/distributed teams
