Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements using various techniques
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile inconsistencies, and break down high-level information into detailed requirements.
- Understand and document current state processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Create clear, concise, and comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications (FSDs), user stories, use cases, process flow diagrams, and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure that documentation is easily understood by both business and technical stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders, including business users, product owners, developers, and testers.
- Effectively communicate requirements, updates, and potential issues to stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and drive consensus.
- Analyze potential solutions and provide recommendations that align with business needs and strategic goals.
- Evaluate trade-offs between different solutions and identify the most feasible and effective options.
- Collaborate with the testing team to ensure that developed solutions meet the documented requirements.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist users in validating the implemented solutions.
- Identify and analyze opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
- Document proposed process changes and support their implementation.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions and requirements.
- Work with data teams to define data requirements and reporting needs.
Requirements:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into clear requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in creating various business analysis artifacts, including BRDs, FSDs, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
- Experience in facilitating meetings and workshops.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and methodologies (e.g, Agile, Waterfall).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
