Role Description:

The current opportunity is for the position of Head, Finance at Burman Capital Management.

Role & responsibilities:

- Manage the development and maintenance of accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Account Receivables, Revenue Reconciliation, Cash Flows, etc.

- Establish and automate internal controls, financial policies, and SOPs

- Preparing financial MIS reports (Profit and Loss statement, balance sheet, profitability, cash flows and variance analysis as per budgets)

- Manage and ensure accuracy of financial statements, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting

- Ensure all statutory compliances (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.)

- Handle regulatory filings across jurisdictions (ROC, RBI, FEMA, etc.)

- Manage audit related activities

- Manage banking relationships, and ensure efficient capital deployment

- Ensuring effective financial systems and processes

- Build relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and other relevant service providers

Preferred candidate profile:

- Qualified CA

- Overall experience of 10+ years post qualification

- Excellent analytical skills

- Prior experience in managing small finance/accounting teams

- Ability to work under tight timelines

- Excellent written and verbal communication
