Role Overview
- We are seeking a results-driven Channel Development Manager to lead the expansion and performance of our distribution network for the tractor attachments division.
- The role focuses on building a strong partner ecosystem, driving revenue growth through channel partners, and developing strategic initiatives to enhance market penetration across designated regions.
- The incumbent will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with business objectives and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Development & Expansion:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new channel partners including distributors, dealers, resellers, and value-added resellers (VARs) across target regions.
- Develop and execute channel expansion strategies to increase market coverage and product reach.
- Conduct market mapping to identify high-potential territories and partner opportunities.
Channel Strategy & Revenue Growth:
- Design and implement channel sales strategies and business plans to achieve revenue, volume, and profitability targets.
- Drive sales performance through partners by setting clear targets, KPIs, and incentive structures.
- Monitor partner performance and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and output.
Partner Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic partners, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to track performance and identify growth opportunities.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Coordinate with internal teams including sales, marketing, service, and operations to support partner success.
- Ensure partners are equipped with necessary product knowledge, training, and marketing support.
- Facilitate smooth execution of partner programs, promotions, and product launches.
Market Intelligence & Business Development:
- Gather market insights on competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer preferences.
- Provide feedback to leadership on product improvements, demand trends, and market opportunities.
- Support new product introductions and go-to-market strategies through channel partners.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in channel sales / channel management, preferably in agriculture equipment, tractor attachments, farm machinery, or allied industries.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets through channel partners.
- Strong understanding of rural markets, dealer networks, and agri-equipment distribution ecosystems.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions.
