Oracle HCM Functional Consultant
Description:
Key Responsibilities
- System Configuration & Implementation: Lead and participate in the functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle HCM Cloud modules, with a primary focus on Payroll (Saudi Arabia localization) and Core HR.
- Fast Formula Expertise: Develop, test, and maintain complex Fast Formulas for various HCM processes, including Payroll, Absence Management, Benefits, and Global HR calculations, ensuring compliance with business logic and regulatory requirements.
- Module Management: Provide functional expertise and support for Core HR, Absence Management, and Talent Modules, ensuring they are configured to meet organizational needs and best practices.
- Business Requirements & Analysis: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders, translating them into effective Oracle HCM Cloud solutions and system designs.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans (Unit, System Integration, UAT) to ensure the stability, functionality, and performance of the configured solutions.
- Support and Optimization: Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot system issues, and identify opportunities for system optimization and process improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with technical teams (developers, integration specialists) and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, real-time solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience & Education:
- 5+ Years of proven experience as an Oracle HCM Functional Consultant or in a similar role.
- MBA in Human Resources (HR) is mandatory, providing a strong foundation in HR principles and practices.
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Expert-level functional proficiency in Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Mandatory deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, with significant, hands-on experience specifically in Saudi Payroll localization and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional proficiency in developing and troubleshooting Fast Formula across multiple HCM modules.
- Solid functional knowledge of and configuration experience with:
- Core HR (Workforce Structures, Global HR, Security).
- Absence Management (Plans, Types, Accruals, Integrations).
- Talent Modules (Performance Management, Goal Management, Succession Planning).
- Demonstrated experience in building scalable, real-time solutions within Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working within fast-paced settings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Desired Attributes:
- Certification in Oracle HCM Cloud or specific modules.
- Experience with data migration and integration tools (e.g., HDL, HSDL, BI Publisher).
- Ability to train and mentor junior consultants or end-users.
- Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or other content management systems is a plus, indicating comfort in a broader technology ecosystem.
