Job Summary:

BSS Microfinance Limited, a subsidiary of Kotak Mahindra Bank, is seeking a qualified Assistant Zonal Manager Collections to oversee collection operations in the Tamil Nadu zone. This is a full-time, on-site position. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day collection activities, leading the collections team, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance collection efficiency. The role requires a strong leader with experience in microfinance or banking who can ensure compliance, manage data, and resolve escalated issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the collections team within the assigned zone.

- Develop and implement strategies to improve collection efficiency and meet business targets.

- Manage, lead, and motivate the collections team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.

- Ensure strict compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory guidelines.

- Regularly monitor and report on collection activities, providing insights and updates to senior management.

- Act as a key liaison with branch managers and other internal stakeholders to streamline collection processes.

- Proactively resolve escalated customer issues and complaints related to collections, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven experience in collections within the microfinance, banking, or financial services industry.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to monitor and evaluate performance.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

- The ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.

- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required. MBA preferred.

- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management principles.
