Lead - Data Science

Key Responsibilities:

- Opportunity to setup data science practice with fastest growing stock exchange

- Identify and collect relevant data from various sources, including structured and unstructured data using big data technologies

- Clean, pre-process, and transform data to ensure its quality and usability.

- Create feature store to drive data insights and analytics use case

- Develop anomaly detection algorithm, time series data analysis, clustering algorithms, or classification models to solve business problems and make accurate predictions.

- Experimentation with generative AI use case

- Visualize data, model outputs, and analytical results using charts, graphs, and dashboards.

- Explore and evaluate new tools, frameworks, and approaches to enhance data science capabilities.

- Evaluate and validate models using appropriate metrics and techniques for surveillance use case

Qualifications & Skill sets:

- Bachelor's or master's degree in mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer science/engineering or related field

- 5 to 6 years' experience in data science, analytics, AI/ML and model deployment end to end.

- Experience in financial services or stock market domain is plus

- Leading team of 2 junior team member

- Proven record in delivering business outcome through data driven insights and analytics/data science

- Proficiency in Python, Pyspark, SQL, data engineering, time series data analysis

- Sound knowledge of Generative AI

- Excellent communication skills, problem solving and curiosity mind set to drive business outcome
