Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Electrical Department Head. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering or any other engineering and a proven track record of successfully managing the electrical department in a similar industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the electrical department, including sales, operations, accounting, and client acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

- Develop and implement strategic plans for the electrical department in alignment with overall company goals.

- Provide leadership and guidance to the electrical team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Sales and Business Development:

- Drive sales initiatives for electrical products and services to achieve revenue targets.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, Architects, Electrical Consultant and clients.

- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the electrical department.

Operations Management:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the electrical department, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.

- Manage inventory levels, procurement, and logistics to meet customer demands.

Financial Management:

- Take ownership of the financial performance of the electrical department.

- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Client Acquisitions:

- Lead efforts to acquire new clients and expand the customer base for electrical solutions.

- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Technical Expertise:

- Possess in-depth knowledge of electrical products, including switches, wires, lights, and other related products.

- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Team Development and Handling:

- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team.

- Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and professional development.

- Handle Sales team, accounts team, supervisor, blue collar workers etc for smooth function of the department.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or any other engineering or a related field and Masters Degree will be a plus.

- Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in managing an electrical department within the interiors supply industry or related industry.

- Strong business acumen with a focus on sales, operations, and financial management.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.

- Leadership experience with a successful track record of leading and developing teams.
