Role Overview:

The Brokerage Manager role is responsible for leading and mentoring a team of brokerage professionals in Chennai, driving revenue growth and ensuring exceptional client service. This role involves overseeing daily brokerage operations, implementing sales strategies, and fostering strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. The Brokerage Manager directly impacts the firm's market share and client retention by optimizing team performance and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of brokerage professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets.

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to expand the client base and increase trading volumes.

- Monitor team performance and provide coaching to improve productivity and enhance client relationships.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies to mitigate risk.

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients to generate revenue.

- Analyze market trends and provide insights to the team to capitalize on investment opportunities.

- Resolve client issues and complaints promptly and effectively to ensure client satisfaction.

- Collaborate with other departments, such as research and marketing, to develop and promote investment products and services.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets in a brokerage environment.

- Comprehensive understanding of financial markets, investment products, and trading strategies.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

- Proven ability to analyze market data and provide actionable insights.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address client issues and resolve conflicts.

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

- NISM certifications relevant to brokerage operations.

- Adaptability to a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Chennai.
