Responsible for delivering all communications and change management elements for the Collaboration programme (Office 365 IT solution global implementation). The role will lead on the programme communications and coordinating the effort needed to land the change successfully across global offices of British Council. Knowledge of the business change management disciplines and life cycle : 1. Business case for change 2. Stakeholder Impact assessment, change readiness 3. Change management plan and key milestones 4. Communication plan 5. Comms design and execution for end user awareness, alignment 6. Training and hand holding strategy to sustain the change/transition 7. Stakeholder management during the change (champions, challengers, power users, decision makers, Head of departments etc) Must have managed Change Management for at least 2-3 Technical/IT/Digital solution implementation for global projects managing users across different geographies. Other responsibilities - Define programme benefits based on evidence-based analysis of processes, systems, and analytics, develop the benefits realization plan and ensure business ownership of the plan and individual benefits through engagement with stakeholders. - Make technical and professional recommendations based on robust analysis and evidence provided by the business analyst pool, on a range of areas, such as process design, organization design, communications, programme rollout, which will have a significant, measurable impact on business performance in the short and medium term. - Contributes to the development of the British Council's change management approach, methodology and toolkit: identifies and recommends new approaches and/or techniques which enhance efficiency and the wider business impact. - Recognised internally as a go-to advisor on issues related to the management of the people and cultural aspects of realising business change, developing expertise across a range of areas which may include developing supportive cultures, leadership sponsorship and development, development of target operating models, engaging change adopters, benefits planning and realisation, stakeholder management and communications, transition management and business analysis and process improvement. - Works with leaders across the organization, coaching them in their change leadership role and building capability and confidence in the design and delivery of the Collaboration Programme - Proactively build and maintain external networks to enhance own knowledge and expertise.
