As a rapidly growing company, we are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Manager with exceptional analytical skills to join our dynamic Data & AI consulting team in Hyderabad.
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Business Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring successful client delivery, fostering team growth, and contributing to key company-level initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of business understanding, technical aptitude, and outstanding communication skills, enabling them to effectively engage with clients, manage project teams, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
LOCATION: Hyderabad, India
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Delivery & Management:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients, building strong, long-term relationships based on trust and value.
- Understand client business objectives and challenges, translating them into actionable data & AI consulting engagements.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and resources effectively, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions clearly and concisely to clients through written reports, presentations, and verbal discussions.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services within existing client engagements.
- Gather client feedback and proactively address any concerns to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Team Management & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, data engineers, and data analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Assign project tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of team members' skills and expertise.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and guidance to team members to support their professional growth and development.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs within the team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Contribute to resource planning and allocation for projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field) from a Tier-I or Tier-II institute in India.
- MBA or master's degree in business administration from a Tier-I or Tier-II institute in India.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in a client-facing role within the Data & AI consulting or technology services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex consulting projects.
- Excellent understanding of data management principles, AI/ML concepts, and emerging technologies.
- Exceptional business acumen with the ability to understand client business drivers and translate them into technical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python and Business Intelligence Tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.)
