Role Overview:
The Branding Manager will be responsible for leading the strategic development, execution, and governance of the brand across all internal and external touchpoints. This role will drive brand positioning, integrated marketing initiatives, environmental branding, visitor experiences, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring consistency, innovation, and excellence across all brand expressions.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, strategic thinking, project management, creative direction, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. The role requires managing multiple high-impact branding initiatives, leading agency partnerships, mentoring team members, and ensuring timely execution of projects aligned with vision and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Leadership:
- Lead the implementation and evolution of overall brand strategy across ATL, BTL, digital, print, environmental graphics, and experiential platforms.
- Develop and strengthen brand positioning, identity, messaging, and communication frameworks to ensure a consistent and impactful brand presence.
- Establish and enforce brand governance by ensuring adherence to brand guidelines across all communication and physical touchpoints.
- Identify opportunities to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and stakeholder engagement through innovative branding initiatives.
- Lead strategic planning for brand campaigns, launches, institutional communication, and long-term branding programs.
- Provide leadership and direction to the branding team while fostering collaboration across departments.
Integrated Brand Communication:
- Drive the planning and execution of integrated ATL, BTL, digital, and experiential campaigns.
- Oversee the development of marketing collateral, corporate presentations, brochures, annual reports, newsletters, films, digital assets, and communication materials.
- Ensure all communication aligns with brand positioning, organizational objectives, and audience expectations.
- Lead the conceptualization and rollout of new brand assets, communication frameworks, and storytelling initiatives.
Events, Conferences & Brand Activations:
- Lead branding strategy and execution for conferences, exhibitions, seminars, stakeholder engagements, launches, and corporate events.
- Oversee event branding, creative development, production planning, logistics, and on-ground execution.
- Ensure every event delivers a premium and consistent brand experience.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to conceptualize impactful brand activations and visitor engagement initiatives.
Signage, Environmental Branding & Visitor Experience:
- Lead the planning and execution of comprehensive signage and environmental branding projects across facilities.
- Conduct site visits with architects, consultants, project teams, and vendors to identify branding opportunities and enhance visitor experience.
- Develop strategic wayfinding systems, interpretive signage, environmental graphics, and immersive branded environments.
- Oversee design development, content creation, production, installation, and quality assurance of signage projects.
- Resolve complex site execution challenges while maintaining design integrity and operational efficiency.
Creative Direction & Agency Management:
- Provide strategic direction to creative agencies, designers, filmmakers, photographers, content creators, consultants, and fabrication partners.
- Review creative concepts and ensure all outputs meet brand standards, project objectives, and quality expectations.
- Lead brainstorming sessions for campaigns, storytelling, exhibitions, visitor experiences, and institutional branding initiatives.
- Encourage innovative design solutions that strengthen the brand.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and manage long-term relationships with creative agencies, production houses, printers, fabricators, consultants, and event partners.
- Lead commercial discussions, vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and performance reviews.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Projects, Administration, HR, CSR, Communications, Procurement, and Leadership.
- Ensure timely delivery, quality control, budget optimization, and operational excellence across branding initiatives.
Project Leadership & Execution:
- Lead multiple high-value branding projects simultaneously from concept to completion.
- Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, approval workflows, and resource allocation strategies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks proactively, and implement practical solutions to ensure timely execution.
- Establish project governance mechanisms and reporting systems for leadership reviews.
Brand Governance & Quality Assurance:
- Maintain consistency across all brand touchpoints, including digital platforms, publications, facilities, signage, events, merchandise, uniforms, and visitor communications.
- Conduct periodic brand audits to ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Recommend continuous improvements to strengthen brand experience and organizational reputation.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the branding team to build a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
- Guide team members on creative excellence, project execution, stakeholder management, and professional development.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Marketing, Branding, Communications, Business Administration, Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in branding, marketing, corporate communications, environmental branding, events, or integrated brand management.
- Proven experience leading large-scale branding initiatives across ATL, BTL, digital, experiential marketing, and environmental branding.
- Demonstrated experience managing branding agencies, creative partners, production vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in infrastructure branding, destination branding, hospitality, tourism, cultural institutions, conservation, or large integrated organizations will be an added advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools, branding workflows, and creative review processes.
- Willingness to travel extensively for site visits, project reviews, installations, vendor meetings, events, and branding initiatives across locations.
