Role Summary
We are seeking a creative and analytical Brand Strategist to develop, refine, and execute brand strategies that strengthen market positioning, drive business growth, and build long-term customer loyalty.
This role blends storytelling, consumer psychology, research, and strategic thinking to shape how the brand communicates, behaves, and is perceived.
The ideal candidate is a hybrid thinkerpart creative, part strategistwith a strong grasp of market insights, consumer journeys, and brand identity systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop compelling, insight-driven brand strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Define brand positioning, messaging frameworks, tone of voice, and value propositions.
- Lead brand evolution, refresh, or repositioning initiatives as needed.
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels, touchpoints, and communications.
- Conduct and analyze market research, audience segmentation, competitor analysis, and cultural trends.
- Identify consumer motivations, behavioural patterns, and unmet needs.
- Translate insights into strategic brand opportunities and actionable recommendations.
- Partner with designers, copywriters, and marketing teams to translate strategy into powerful ideas.
- Create storytelling frameworks, campaign narratives, and brand communication guidelines.
- Evaluate creative work to ensure it aligns with the brand essence and strategic direction.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, design, and leadership teams to guide brand-led decisions.
- Support go-to-market (GTM) planning for new products, features, and campaigns.
- Work with external agencies, creative partners, and research vendors when needed.
- Develop brand guidelines, playbooks, and toolkits to ensure strong and consistent brand identity.
- Monitor brand performance through analytics, sentiment tracking, and qualitative research.
- Conduct brand audits and recommend improvements to strengthen brand equity.
- Build long-term roadmap for brand growth and differentiation.
- Develop strategies for new markets, categories, or audience segments.
- Support annual brand planning, campaign planning, and messaging calendars.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Branding, Psychology, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing strategy, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of brand positioning, communication strategy, and consumer insights.
- Experience conducting or interpreting research: qualitative, quantitative, cultural, or digital analytics.
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling strategic narratives.
