Reporting to: Head of Marketing

Function: Brand, Partnerships & Cultural Strategy

Role Summary

BattleBucks is seeking a creative, culturally plugged-in Brand Partnerships Lead (Activation & Collaborations) to shape the brand's presence in culture and foster meaningful consumer connections beyond traditional marketing.

This role is built for someone who thrives on ideas, storytelling, and execution. You will spearhead brand activations, experiential marketing, and cross-brand partnerships that elevate BattleBucks within gaming, pop culture, creator communities, and youth culture at large.

Youll operate at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and relationship-building crafting brand moments that expand our presence, create cultural relevance, and earn consumer love.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Activations & Experiences

- Conceptualize and execute immersive gaming, pop-culture, and digital-first brand activations for BattleBucks.

- Transform campaign objectives into high-impact experiences that drive engagement, visibility, and earned media.

- Identify cultural and gaming ecosystem moments (tournaments, creator events, festivals, esports IPs) for brand presence.

- Lead end-to-end execution across ideation, pitches, vendor management, production, and on-ground storytelling.

2. Cross-Brand & Strategic Partnerships

- Identify and build collaborations with brands, creators, platforms, and cultural partners aligned with BattleBucks positioning.

- Lead the creation of co-branded campaigns, product innovations, pop-ups, and digital integrations.

- Drive negotiation, contract structuring, and relationship management to ensure mutual value.

- Partner with internal teams (marketing, social, comms, product) to amplify collaboration properties across channels.

3. Community Building & Cultural Relevance

- Track emerging trends across gaming, Gen Z culture, social media, and entertainment to identify brand opportunities.

- Work closely with the creator and comms teams to activate moments that place BattleBucks at the centre of cultural conversations.

- Support in building and nurturing gaming communities, creator circles, and micro-fandoms that strengthen long-term affinity.

4. Project & Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate closely with brand, creative, design, and product teams for seamless execution.

- Own timelines, deliverables, budgets, and reporting across multiple concurrent projects.

- Maintain strong relationships with agencies, collaborators, production partners, event organisers, and creative vendors.

Key Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in brand activations, experiential marketing, or partnership-led roles.

- Proven track record of executing cross-brand or culturally relevant collaborations.

- Strong creative sensibility with the ability to translate brand strategy into standout experiences.

- Confident, articulate communicator who can represent BattleBucks in external collaborations.

- Excellent project management, negotiation, and multitasking skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment with multiple stakeholders and dynamic priorities.
