Role Overview:

We are partnering with the global beauty division of a leading national retail conglomerate that manages some of the worlds most prestigious premium and luxury beauty brands across India. With a strong pan-India footprint, omnichannel presence, and a rapidly expanding portfolio of international skincare, makeup, and fragrance brands, the organization is strengthening its brand leadership team.

The Brand Manager Beauty will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, profitability, brand equity, and operational excellence across assigned markets while ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines and corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & Financial Management:

- Drive sales growth and margin expansion across assigned brands and markets.

- Build and manage financial plans aligned with market trends, balancing growth opportunities and business risks.

- Conduct P&L analysis at door/store level and develop action plans to improve profitability.

- Work closely with finance teams to monitor performance and resolve business challenges.

Merchandising & Inventory Management:

- Ensure optimal product assortment, availability, and visibility on the shop floor.

- Monitor stock levels and collaborate with regional teams to address gaps or excess inventory.

- Forecast new product launches, promotions, and seasonal demand in partnership with regional forecasting teams.

- Drive accurate forecasting, maintain optimal inventory levels, and execute plans to reduce excess or slow-moving stock.

Market & Consumer Insights:

- Identify growth opportunities, pricing trends, competitive activity, and evolving consumer behavior.

- Translate insights into actionable strategies to strengthen brand performance and market positioning.

- Stay abreast of beauty retail trends, category nuances, and customer preferences.

Brand Governance & Execution:

- Ensure consistent execution of brand image and identity in line with global and corporate standards.

- Partner with marketing, VM, and retail teams to ensure impactful brand presence across channels.

- Support omnichannel initiatives, including e-commerce and digital-led brand activations.

Leadership & Collaboration:

- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.

- Work cross-functionally with merchandising, supply chain, finance, marketing, and regional brand leaders.

- Demonstrate agile and adaptive leadership suited for a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Education from NIFT / MBA / Beauty, Fashion, or Retail-focused programs preferred.

- Strong analytical, commercial, and merchandising mindset.

- Proven ability to manage P&L, forecasting, and inventory planning.

- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Agile, adaptable, and execution-focused leadership style.

- Strong understanding of beauty retail, consumer behavior, and category dynamics.

- Experience in Beauty Retail, E-commerce, FMCG (Beauty), or Premium Lifestyle Brands is highly preferred.
