Brand Manager - New Category - Personal Care - IIM/MDI/ISB

About the role:

This is a founder-like mandate for someone who wants to build, not maintain. As we expand beyond our core business into new categories, we're hiring a Brand Manager to build our Personal Care line from a blank page defining what we make, who it's for, and how it goes to market, then taking it all the way to launch. You'll work directly with the leadership team and a small, sharp crew focused on new categories, with unusual ownership for the stage. Expect ambiguity, a wide canvas, and the chance to shape a category that could become a meaningful part of the business.

What you'll do:

- Develop the category thesis: what we should make in Personal Care, for whom, and why it wins.

- Run market sizing, consumer research, and competitive mapping, and build the business case for investment.

- Define the product in partnership with design and sourcing from proposition to specs to samples.

- Shape the full go-to-market strategy: positioning, pricing, channel, and brand.

- Build the category from 0 to 1 alongside the founders, making the early calls that set its direction.

- Lay the groundwork for scale: early demand signals, launch plan, and the metrics that will define success.

What we're looking for:

- MBA from a top IIM.

- 3-6 years in brand/category management, consumer strategy, consulting, or an early-stage D2C role.

- Exceptional analytical horsepower and structured thinking: you can go from a blank page to a defensible plan.

- Entrepreneurial and comfortable with ambiguity; genuinely excited to build something new.

- Strong design sensibility and consumer intuition.

- What success looks like in the first year: a validated category thesis, a defined product and go-to-market plan, and a clear, funded path to launch.

- Nice to have: beauty or personal-care exposure, FMCG background, or prior D2C launch experience.
