DUBAI BASED BRAND MANAGER - INNOVATIONS & - BEAUTY & PERSONAL CARE
About the Role:
- This is a Brand Development role, not a classical brand building/P&L ownership role.
- You will act as the custodian of the brand's DNA, visual identity, innovation pipeline, and core equity, driving New Product Development (NPD) and Innovation-led growth.
- Your mandate is to create new opportunities grounded in deep Consumer Market Intelligence (CMI), global trends, and local insights - delivering disruptive, meaningful innovations.
- We are looking for an agile, consumer-obsessed Brand Manager - Innovations & NPD to join our Dubai-based team at Emami International Business Division (IBD). This role offers the opportunity to lead brand innovation, shape category growth across Middle East (MEA), Europe & S.E. Asia markets, and work on creating the next generation of beauty and personal care brands.

Key Responsibilities:
Innovation & Brand Strategy:
- Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects end-to-end for Global Skin care Brand- from ideation to in-market execution across beauty and personal care categories.
- Drive consumer trend mining, white space identification, and CMI-driven innovation pipelines using tools like Nielsen, Kantar, household panels, and AI-powered insight platforms.
- Analyze market white spaces, unmet needs, and consumer journeys. Interpret quantitative and qualitative insights (Nielsen, Kantar, Panel Data) into innovation opportunities.
- Create visual brand identities in collaboration with top global design houses and creative agencies.
- Develop brand extension strategies to grow our portfolio sustainably across emerging and core segments.
Category Management:
- Manage and scale multiple product lines within a large portfolio structure, balancing core business with innovation-led growth.
- Partner with international R&D consultants, ingredient houses, and regulatory teams to deliver differentiated, compliant formulations.
- Focus exclusively on Beauty and Personal Care categories (e.g., skincare, haircare, hygiene).
- Constantly monitor global beauty, personal care, and lifestyle trends; recommend future-proof innovations.
Cross-Functional & Project Management:
- Lead Cross-Enterprise Teams (CETs) involving R&D, Packaging, Regulatory, CMI, Supply Chain, and Finance for successful project delivery.
- Master Project Management discipline - tracking timelines, budgets, and deliverables with precision.
- Manage external partners - design agencies, fragrance houses, trend consultants - ensuring on-brief and on-brand outputs.
- Own packaging innovation - conceptualizing and working on structure design, aesthetic cues, material differentiation, and sustainability aspects.
- Work closely with global design houses and packaging vendors to bring innovation alive through pack formats and claims.
Who We're Looking For:
- 2-5 years of experience in FMCG brand management and innovation roles, ideally with hands-on NPD exposure in beauty, personal care, or skincare categories.
- Prior experience working closely with design houses, creative agencies, or international R&D teams.
- Strong knowledge of consumer insights methodologies and CMI data interpretation.
- Solid understanding of regional (MEA) consumer behavior and brand-building nuances.
- Exposure to using AI tools (e.g., AI-driven consumer trend platforms, predictive analytics) to enhance innovation pipelines is a strong plus.
- Ability to blend creativity with structured project management - design sprints, agile development, and stage-gate innovation frameworks.
- Excellent presentation skills, ability to build persuasive brand decks and sell innovation internally and externally.
Educational Background:
- Full-time MBA or Postgraduate Degree in Marketing from a reputed institute. Tier 2 / 3.
