Job Summary:
1. You will be responsible for defining the strategy and vision of the brand, developing marketing plans, and driving the innovation agenda. You will be the owner of your brand's health and responsible for maintaining and building its strength in consumers' minds.
2. This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market trends, as well as strong project management and leadership skills.
3. You are expected to translate insights into new product/business opportunities for your brand - also manage the commercialization process (from concept to launch) end-to-end.
RESPONSIBILITITES:
- Contribute new product ideas to the pipeline based on consumer insights, category landscape analyses, competitive assessments, and operational capabilities.
- Present strategies to senior leaders to gain buy-in and secure cross-functional resources.
- Engage and lead cross functional teams in order to achieve brand-specific revenue, profit and market share objectives.
- Execute key operational elements for new product commercialization and launch on time with executional excellence.
- Lead communication development - work with agency partners to develop impactful campaigns that help grow business & build brand equity.
- Monitor and analyse category and brand performance with a view to assess brand strength, understand perceived brand and performance gaps and identify opportunities for brand growth.
- Select, train and manage career development of assigned direct reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MBA/Marketing must, 3 yrs+ FMCG/brand management experience
- Experience leading cross-functional teams (internal & external)
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and product launches.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data for informed decision-making.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Self-starter, Result oriented, Ability to work independently
- Passionate about work; Stay up-to-date on industry trends and consumer behavior.Brand Manager
