Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic and execution-focused Brand Manager with 10+ years of experience in building and scaling FMCG brands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Food, Beauty, Hygiene, or Personal Care categories and a proven track record of driving brand growth, consumer engagement, and market share through data-driven brand strategies.
This role requires deep consumer understanding, strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to manage brands across their lifecycle, from innovation to scale.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Growth
- Own end-to-end brand strategy, including positioning, architecture, and long-term growth roadmap.
- Translate business objectives into impactful brand plans aligned with consumer insights and market trends.
- Drive brand health metrics such as awareness, consideration, penetration, and loyalty.
Marketing & Communication
- Lead development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, and social media.
- Partner with creative and media agencies to deliver compelling brand communication.
- Ensure consistent brand tonality, messaging, and visual identity across all touchpoints.
Leadership
- Mentor and guide junior brand team members.
- Act as a brand custodian and internal champion across the organization.
Consumer & Market Insights
- Leverage consumer research, category insights, and data analytics to identify growth opportunities.
- Track competition, pricing, innovations, and market dynamics to stay ahead of trends.
Product & Innovation
- Work closely with R&D, supply chain, and commercial teams on new product development and renovations.
- Manage product lifecycle, including launches, relaunches, and portfolio optimisation.
Commercial & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, E-commerce, and Finance teams to ensure strong in-market execution.
- Support GTM strategies, channel plans, and promotional effectiveness.
Budget & Performance Management
- Own brand P&L inputs, marketing budgets, and ROI measurement.
- Track KPIs and optimise spends to maximise impact and efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile -
- 5 plus years of experience in Brand Management within the FMCG Industry.
- Strong exposure to Food, Beauty, Hygiene, or Personal Care categories (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of Indian consumer behaviour and FMCG go-to-market models.
- Hands-on experience with ATL, digital-first campaigns, and modern marketing tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
- Any graduate (MBA or Marketing background is a plus).
