The Brand Head role is critical at this moment - to help reimagine and elevate brand across all online and offline touchpoints across all categories.
To reimagine brand language for the coming decade by truly listening to consumers. To then disseminate this language across all customer touchpoints in all channels and geographies. Any customer or potential customer should have the same consistent, top notch experience of irrespective of where they interact. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in branding and proven ability to manage brands across D2C online, company owned retail, Modern Trade and online marketplaces.
Brand Strategy & Planning:
- Develop brand strategies which are tightly aligned with the near and medium term business goals
- Ensure visual, verbal, and written brand consistency across all end user/customer/stakeholder touchpoints and communication
- Allocate capital in an efficient and data-driven manner
- Create compelling content and collateral that achieves brand goals
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior across online and offline channels using both qualitative and quantitative tools and frameworks
- Track KPIs like ROAS, footfall, conversion rate, AOV, repeat rate, and brand health metrics.
Work closely with the the following teams to action the brand initiatives:
- Category
- Retail (Operations, Merchandising)
- Supply chain and operations
- Groom a team of brand marketers that truly live and breathe the business, and hence the derived marketing goals. Build the muscle of well-rounded and robust brand marketing decision making in the team.
Core Competencies:
- Strong fundamentals of brand positioning, segmentation, creative differentiation and strategic media planning
- High EQ to collaborate and drive brand initiatives through influence
A successful Head of Brand Marketing should have:
- Proven experience in brand marketing within an Omni channel environment but with a clear linkage to business metrics, and not just brand metrics. Excellent strategic thinking and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and consumer behaviour.
