Brand Finance Controller

We are hiring for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Controller for one of the fashion brands in our portfolio. The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilites :

Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS.

- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.

- Develop and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Lead the budgeting process, including the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets

- Provide accurate financial forecasts, variance analysis, and financial planning

- Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve financial performance

Internal Controls:

- Establish and maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and company policies

- Oversee internal and external audits and implement corrective actions as needed

Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor and manage the brand's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations

- Optimize working capital and develop strategies for cash flow improvement

- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions

Financial Strategy:

- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with business goals

- Evaluate financial risks and opportunities, providing insights for decision-making

Qualification:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred

- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a controllership role

- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a finance team in a dynamic environment
