About the Role
Velodata Global Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced, results-driven Manager to lead our gold loan branch in Eranad, Kerala. This key leadership role demands a professional with a comprehensive understanding of the gold loan business, strong sales and operational management skills, and a commitment to customer excellence. You will be fully responsible for overseeing all aspects of the branch's operations, driving business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maximizing profitability.
What You'll Do
As a Manager, your core responsibilities will include:
Branch Operations Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of the gold loan branch's daily operations, ensuring seamless functioning, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.
Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage all branch staff. Foster a high-performance work environment, set clear objectives, and conduct performance reviews.
Business Growth & Sales Strategy: Develop, implement, and execute robust sales and marketing strategies to significantly drive gold loan disbursements and achieve aggressive business growth targets. Actively lead sales efforts, identify new market opportunities, and expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty to drive repeat business and referrals.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure strict and comprehensive compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory standards governing gold loan operations. Implement effective risk mitigation strategies to prevent fraud, manage delinquencies, and safeguard branch assets.
Profitability Maximization: Manage branch resources strategically to optimize operational efficiency and maximize profitability, including cost control and revenue generation. Analyze branch performance metrics, identify key trends, and implement corrective actions to achieve financial objectives.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and insightful reports on branch performance, sales, operations, and compliance for senior management.
Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and economic indicators to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
Issue Resolution: Effectively handle escalated customer complaints and complex operational challenges, finding timely and appropriate solutions.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Minimum of 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in the Gold Loan industry. This must include a proven track record in leading and managing branch operations, with strong demonstrated skills in sales, marketing, and operations.
Leadership Skills: Strong, demonstrable leadership abilities with experience in managing, motivating, and developing a team to achieve targets.
