Job Summary:
- We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager - CASA to lead branch banking operations and sales.
- The role requires managing a high-performing team, driving CASA acquisition, cross-selling banking products, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring compliance.
- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven track record in retail banking, with a special focus on CASA growth and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development:
- Drive CASA acquisition targets through branch-led channels and ensure profitability of the branch.
- Monitor and manage daily sales activities of Sales Officers and Relationship Managers.
- Actively promote cross-selling of banking products such as FDs, RDs, Life Insurance (LI), General Insurance (GI), mutual funds, credit cards, and more.
- Handle New-to-Bank (NTB) customer acquisition and deepen existing relationships.
Revenue & Profitability:
- Own and achieve branch revenue targets across retail liabilities and third-party products.
- Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high service standards.
- Manage P&L of the branch and maintain healthy profitability ratios.
Team Management & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Officers, Relationship Managers, and branch staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and training to upskill the team.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer acquisition and service excellence.
Customer Relationship & Service Excellence:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt and efficient service delivery.
- Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure adherence to TAT (Turnaround Time) and SLA (Service Level Agreements).
- Promote a customer-first culture within the branch.
Risk & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance guidelines.
- Conduct periodic reviews and audits to monitor adherence to banking norms and risk policies.
- Maintain strict control over processes, documentation, and operational risk.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Branch Manager in Retail Liabilities / CASA Sales.
- Strong leadership, sales, and team management capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage branch P&L and deliver on sales and profitability targets.
- Good understanding of banking products and services, especially CASA, deposits, and insurance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Sound knowledge of local market and customer behavior.
