Branch Manager - Banking

Role Overview:

As a Branch Manager, you will be at the helm of our operations in Chandigarh, Mohali, or Patiala, driving business growth and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your day-to-day will involve leading a team of banking professionals, managing branch operations, and cultivating strong relationships with clients. You will collaborate closely with regional leadership, product teams, and support functions to achieve branch targets and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Your leadership will directly impact customer satisfaction, business development, and the financial performance of the branch.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategies to achieve branch sales targets and expand the customer base within the designated region.

- Manage and oversee all branch operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of banking professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve individual and team goals.

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, identifying opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell financial products and services.

- Monitor branch performance, analyze key metrics, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and profitability.

- Ensure effective risk management practices are in place to mitigate potential losses and protect the organization's assets.

- Represent the organization in the local community, building relationships with key stakeholders and promoting the brand.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve ambitious sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

- Proven expertise in managing branch operations, including compliance, risk management, and financial performance.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in banking, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
