Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Branch Manager to lead and manage the operations of our bank branch.
- The Branch Manager will be responsible for achieving financial performance targets, delivering superior customer service, managing compliance and risk, and leading a high-performing team.
- This leadership role demands a strategic thinker who can balance business growth with operational excellence, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Branch Operations & Compliance
- Oversee daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficiency, security, and adherence to all internal and regulatory policies.
- Ensure that operational processes and controls are followed in line with RBI guidelines, KYC/AML standards, and bank policies.
- Maintain accuracy in financial transactions, cash handling, and document management.
- Team Leadership & Human Resources
- Supervise, mentor, and manage branch staff including customer service executives, tellers, relationship managers, and back-office support.
- Conduct staff training, goal-setting, performance reviews, and skill development programs.
- Foster a customer-centric culture focused on service excellence and employee motivation.
- Sales & Business Development
- Drive branch revenue and profitability through retail banking products such as savings/current accounts, personal loans, insurance, mutual funds, and fixed deposits.
- Set and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for the team.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities through data analysis and customer profiling.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the face of the branch, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Resolve customer complaints, handle escalations, and ensure prompt redressal of grievances.
- Conduct regular customer engagement activities and outreach programs in the local community.
- Financial Oversight & Reporting
- Monitor branch profitability and cost control measures.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on branch performance, risk, customer engagement, and team performance to senior management.
- Assist in audits and ensure readiness for internal and external inspections.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail banking or financial services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Proven track record in sales target achievement, team leadership, and customer service delivery
