Description:

The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, sales, and customer service of the branch.

This role ensures that the branch meets business goals, maintains regulatory compliance, drives profitability, and delivers an exceptional customer experience.

The Branch Manager is also responsible for managing, motivating, and developing the branch team to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the branch.

- Monitor and manage branch budgets, expenses, and resources efficiently.

- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and standards.

- Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal audit requirements.

- Oversee cash management, account reconciliations, and security protocols.

Sales & Business Development:

- Develop and execute branch-level sales and marketing strategies to achieve targets.

- Identify opportunities for business growth in the assigned territory.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and local stakeholders.

- Analyze branch performance metrics and recommend strategies to improve revenue and market share.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead, mentor, and motivate branch staff to achieve individual and team goals.

- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement employee development plans.

- Recruit and onboard new team members as needed.

- Foster a positive work culture emphasizing teamwork, accountability, and high performance.

Customer Service Excellence:

- Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently delivered.

- Handle escalated customer complaints or issues professionally and promptly.

- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Analysis:

- Prepare and submit regular reports on branch performance, sales, operations, and staff productivity.

- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

- Provide recommendations to senior management based on branch insights.

Qualifications & Skills:

-MBA preferred.

- Proven experience (typically 6-8 years) in branch management, banking, retail, or similar operational leadership roles.

- Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and business operations.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to drive business growth.

- Proficient in MS Office and banking/retail management software.
