Description:

Job Title: Branch Manager

Location-Patna

Grade-Manager / Senior Manager /AVP

Role Purpose:

To execute and oversee the overall administration, sales, operations, compliance, and profitability of a full-service branch, ensuring customer satisfaction and achievement of business targets in line with the Banks objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

- Drive growth in Liabilities (CA, SA, FD), Assets (Home, Auto & Personal Loans), and Fee Products (MF, LI, GI, Gold, etc.).

- Prepare and monitor annual and monthly sales plans.

- Build a balanced asset and liability book and expand market share within the branch catchment area.

- Ensure high-quality customer acquisition, proper onboarding, and cross-sell of minimum three products per customer.

- Track sales productivity, lead management, and business inflow/outflow daily.

2. Customer Service

- Maintain key customer relationships and ensure high service standards and minimal escalations.

- Conduct regular customer visits, engagement programs, and lobby management.

- Drive a culture of First Contact Resolution and continuous service improvement.

3. Compliance & Risk Management

- Ensure strict adherence to operational, regulatory, and risk control guidelines.

- Achieve target audit scores, monitor exception reports, and close audit observations timely.

- Prevent frauds through process discipline, awareness, and regular security checks.

4. Branch Profitability

- Achieve growth in Net Interest Income (NII) and Fee Income while optimizing operating expenses.

- Enhance CASA, term deposits, and loan portfolios through service-led sales.

- Monitor daily GL reports, cash holdings, and fee income generation.

5. Brand & Administration

- Ensure adherence to brand and infrastructure standards within and outside the branch.

- Maintain branch ambience, equipment functionality, and ATM upkeep.

- Ensure professional grooming and adherence to workstation and storage guidelines.

6. People Management & Capability Building

- Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff.

- Conduct job rotations, feedback sessions, and in-house training programs.

- Ensure certifications (AMFI, IRDA, e-Learning) for all branch employees.

7. Other Responsibilities

- Implement central projects related to service, automation, and compliance.

- Oversee business continuity plans, branch legal matters, and employee morale initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Business Growth: Achievement of liability, asset, and fee income targets.

- Customer Service: Branch service scores and complaint resolution.

- Compliance: Audit ratings, regulatory adherence, and fraud prevention.

- Profitability: Growth in NII, fee income, and cost optimization.

- People & Brand: Staff capability, retention, and branch upkeep.
