Job Summary:
The Branch Manager will be responsible for managing all banking operations at the branch, ensuring business growth, customer satisfaction, and adherence to regulatory guidelines. The role involves driving sales, managing team performance, and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales:
- Achieve branch business targets in deposits, advances, and other banking products.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling bank products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, corporate clients, and local businesses.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate branch staff to achieve performance goals.
- Conduct regular training and development sessions for employees.
- Manage recruitment, appraisal, and performance evaluation of branch team members.
Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure smooth functioning of branch operations with a focus on customer service and operational efficiency.
- Comply with banking regulations, internal policies, and risk management guidelines.
- Monitor and control branch expenses and operational risks.
Customer Service:
- Resolve escalated customer grievances promptly and effectively.
- Enhance customer experience through proactive service and engagement.
Reporting:
Prepare and submit timely reports on branch performance, business metrics, and compliance status to senior management.
