Branch Business Head - Housing Finance

Branch Management & Strategy:

- Manage all aspects of the branch including compliance, underwriting, operations, sales, and processing teams.

- Plan and execute strategic initiatives to achieve branch targets and overall business objectives.

- Expand and retain the customer base for affordable home loans through strong customer and channel partner relationships.

- Ensure smooth functioning of the entire lending lifecycle-from inquiry and application to verification, disbursement, collection, and post-sales service.

Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with Audit/NHB regulations and internal company policies.

- Maintain robust checks to ensure high-quality loan portfolios with minimal delinquency.

- Monitor and control risk at the branch level through strong governance and adherence to process frameworks.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Drive sales productivity by effectively managing Sales Managers and cross-functional teams.

- Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and reward & recognition programs.

- Provide continuous guidance, mentorship, and motivation to enhance team performance.

Business Development:

- Build and develop a balanced sourcing mix comprising direct and indirect channels.

- Strengthen relationships with channel partners, DSAs, connectors, and local influencers.

- Manage escalations related to customers and partners, ensuring timely resolution.

Market Intelligence:

- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.

- Provide actionable insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of affordable housing finance and lending operations.

- Proven experience in managing sales, credit, and operations teams.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.

- Strong analytical skills with an understanding of risk and policy frameworks.

- Ability to drive business growth while maintaining high compliance standards.

Qualifications:

- Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.

- 6-12 years of relevant experience in housing finance/NBFC sector, with at least 2-3 years in a branch leadership role.
