BP - Technology Deployment Lead - Automotive Lubricants - Castrol

- Lead technology Deployment activities across spaces in automotive lubricants in line with business requirement.

- Operate as subject matter expert with other experts and technologists to; deliver proof of performance testing, deploy products, train the trainer for product launches, support existing technology, customers and new business (including technical input to tenders).

- Build and manage positive relationships with internal customers (Marketing, Supply Chain, Product Development, Sales) and external customers (OEMs, industry bodies, suppliers) to co-create technology solutions, accelerate deployment, and ensure alignment with business priorities, market needs, and evolving legislative requirements.

- Provide technology expertise in customer support by product recommendation, resolution of application & performance problems; counterfeits; product waivers; material substitution; specifications; applications.

- Present technical material at customer events, at external technical seminars and conferences, drive technical advocacy to showcase technology innovations.

- Provide product and application advice with training to technical network/sales technical staff. Provide input and advice into new product development projects.

- Subject matter expert in collaboration with other technologists to deliver validation/customer approval tests.

- Identify locally sourced purchased finished goods and raw materials. Support resolution of local raw-material shortages and quality incidents.

- Provide leadership on the integrity and management of technical data. Review and advise on product technical marketing claims and other related communications for use in regional / local markets.

- Develop and share expertise to facilitate continuous improvement within the Technology Deployment team.

- Leverage digital tools and analytics to enhance insights, strengthen decision-making, and improve efficiency across deployment and innovation.
