Description:
Job Purpose
To provide functional expertise in the SAP FICO module by managing configuration, implementation, support, and optimization of SAP Finance and Controlling processes aligned with business requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business requirements for FI (Finance) & CO (Controlling) processes.
- Configure and support SAP FICO sub-modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, Bank Accounting, Asset Accounting, Cost Center, Profit Center and COPA.
- Perform end-to-end implementation, rollout, upgrades, and support activities.
- Prepare functional specifications for RICEFW objects and collaborate with development teams.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Work on master data migration, cutover activities, and post-go-live support.
- Provide L2/L3 support by resolving incidents, service requests, and change requests within SLA.
- Coordinate with business users to understand pain points and propose system enhancements.
- Create and maintain FS documents, test scripts, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
- Support audit, compliance, and month-end / year-end closing activities.
- Ensure integration with SD / MM / PP / HCM and other SAP modules.
Technical Skills Required
- Expert knowledge of SAP FI & CO configurations
- Strong understanding of business processes in accounting & controlling
- Experience with S/4HANA (preferred)
- Knowledge of:
1. New GL & Document Splitting
2. Automatic Payment Program / Dunning
3. Asset Accounting / Depreciation
4. Product Costing & COPA
5. Taxation (GST/TDS/Withholding tax)
- Experience in Fiori Apps (added advantage)
Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience working with IDOC, ALE, Interfaces, EDI
- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager & Charm Process
- Exposure to SAP Upgrades, AMS support model
- Basic ABAP debugging skills for issue analysis
Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA / ICWA
- SAP FICO Certification (preferred)
