BKNG Treasury is seeking a self-starting individual to play a leading role for the execution of all global Treasury back office activities covering but not limited to Banking Administration (KYC Management, Signatory Management and Audit Support) and as well as Electronic Banking Administration (User Access Management, Banking Platform Management and Access Governance & Compliance) and other Treasury operational areas, considering the companys global footprint and equally widespread banking operations in a plethora of complex and challenging jurisdictions.
- You will be part of the BKNG Treasury team and work closely together with dedicated Treasury, Banking and Operations team members.
- You will be able to demonstrate flawless teamwork, coordination, and relationship management skills, demonstrating tenacity and drive to deliver successful projects.
- Recurring tasks and objectives will span across a number of KYC, regulatory, legal, Risk, AML, Compliance and Financial Crime landscapes.
- You will be expected to work effectively with experts and stakeholders in each area.
- As the organization and the travel industry evolve particularly due to expansion of technologies (E.
RPA, Machine Learning and AI) adoption, the tasks and duties of this role will evolve over time.
- You will be keen to develop and grow within the role and challenge yourself to improve processes, take on additional projects and responsibilities as they present themselves inline with the BKNG Treasury strategy.
Responsible:
- Maintaining and updating mandates in our worldwide network of bank accounts.
- Ensuring accuracy of the right entitlements of senior individuals acting as account signers in a constantly changing landscape.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with relevant internal and external parties to obtain KYC documents.
- Ensure adequate KYC information and documentation are supplied to the banking partners in line with the regulatory and legal requirements, and completed in a timely manner for various global entities.
- Provide support with yearly Standard Bank Confirmations, FBAR reporting and ongoing general Audit related questions, advise on efficient practices for timely collection of confirmation and act as an escalating point in resolving any bank service delivery failures in that regard.
- Accurately execute new user access management requests, change requests and access removal for applicable electronic banking platforms.
- Coordinate bank portal administration, including managing KYC updates, access provisioning, user access migrations, internal communications to all relevant key stakeholders.
- Support the development and evolution of the company's global Back Office capabilities leveraging emerging technologies and six sigma principles.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of seniority in complex multi entities and multi brands set up globally.
- Create, maintain and cultivate core-banking relationships, balancing optimal financial value with service delivery from an implementation perspective, documentation and KYC perspective.
- Promote and advise internal stakeholders in the best practices from data sharing, data collection, documentation management and renewal across the relevant jurisdictions.
- Actively contribute to the team by identifying and proposing changes in both internal as external processes to increase compliance, efficiency and cost reduction.
- Support fellow members across the Bank Office activities to preserve and ensure continuity of the day-to-day business operations.
- Ensure adherence to SOX controls and processes, enable the periodical reviews and filing requested.
- Management of ad-hoc projects where required.
