About the Role:

Lead the finance function as Head of Finance, reporting directly to the CEO.

You will be accountable for the financial health and compliance of both our US and Indian entities, driving strategic financial planning, controls, and investor relations.

Role Responsibilities:

- Build and lead all aspects of financial management across both US and India, including budgeting, FP&A, and financial modelling.

- Oversee consolidated books for both entities, ensuring accurate, timely closing and board/investor reporting.

- Manage US GAAP/India IndAS compliance, subscription billing (ASC 606), payroll, and corporate governance.

- Lead financial modeling, dashboard preparation, and due diligence for investment rounds.

- Advise the CEO and Board on commercial and financial strategy, including pricing and margin management.

Required Qualifications:

- MBA in Finance from a top-tier Indian B-school (IIM or equivalent) with 57+ years post-MBA experience in SaaS/technology finance roles.

- Demonstrated success leading finance in early/growth-stage SaaS with hands-on, cross-border accounting and compliance (US+India required).

- Expertise in subscription billing, SaaS metrics, unit economics, investor reporting, and fundraising processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in vertical SaaS is highly preferred.

- Proven track record managing CA firms/agencies and coordinating with US/India accounting partners.

Good to Have:

- Experience scaling teams and systems for high-growth SaaS environments.

- Familiarity with tools like Inkle for US accounting.

- Clean books and fully compliant operations across India and US within 90 days.

- Reliable monthly close and metric dashboards for board/investor reporting.

- Scalable finance processes ready for growth and Series A fundraising.
