Were building a new investment platform from the ground up and were looking for a seasoned, entrepreneurial professional to help design the strategy, build the pipeline, and shape the future of our investment practice.

This role sits at the intersection of venture investing, company building, and leadership ideal for someone who enjoys thinking strategically while also executing hands-on.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Strategy & Thesis

- Build and refine investment theses across selected sectors and stages

- Identify market gaps, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes

- Design portfolio construction and risk frameworks

Sourcing & Evaluating Startups

- Source high-quality deal flow through networks, founders, and ecosystem partners

- Screen startups for business model strength, market potential, and founder quality

- Lead financial and strategic evaluation

Due Diligence & Deal Execution

- Lead commercial, financial, and legal due diligence

- Structure deals, negotiate terms, and drive execution end-to-end

- Coordinate with legal, advisors, and external stakeholders

Portfolio Management

- Work closely with founders post-investment

- Support growth strategy, governance, and follow-on rounds

- Track portfolio performance and milestones

Foundational Company Building

- Set up internal operating processes, systems, and reporting

- Hire and mentor future team members

- Establish compliance, documentation, and audit-ready processes

- Ensure legal and regulatory alignment at all stages

Reporting

- Prepare performance dashboards and periodic investment reports

- Present insights and recommendations to leadership / partners

Ideal Background

- Prior experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, Family Office, or Investment Banking,

OR

- Former startup founder/operator with exposure to fundraising and investing

- Demonstrated experience evaluating startups and leading deals

- Strong network across founders, investors, and ecosystem partners

Skills & Competencies

- Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities

- Sharp strategic thinking with bias for execution

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Comfort working in ambiguity and building from scratch

- High integrity, discretion, and ownership mindset

Education

- MBA, CFA, CA, or equivalent background preferred - but strong experience matters more than degrees.
