Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Regional Key Account Manager to manage and grow our key business accounts in the Southern region, which includes major clients and strategic partners. This role involves overseeing account management, developing business strategies, and ensuring the overall satisfaction and success of key regional clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:

-Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts (Reliance, Metro, Apollo, D-Mart, MedPlus, etc.) within the Southern region.

-Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders.

-Ensure smooth communication and alignment between client needs and company objectives.

-Monitor and manage day-to-day operations of client accounts, ensuring deliverables are met.

Business Development:

-Identify new business opportunities within existing key accounts to expand product offerings and maximize revenue growth.

-Proactively approach clients to identify their evolving needs and offer customized solutions.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, logistics, etc.) to develop tailored proposals for key clients.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

-Develop and implement account-specific sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive growth.

-Work with the National Key Account Manager to align regional sales objectives with overall business goals.

-Track sales performance and ensure that targets are met or exceeded within the assigned accounts.

Market & Competitor Analysis:

-Monitor market trends, competitors, and client behaviors to identify opportunities and threats.

-Prepare periodic reports and presentations on account performance, market insights, and future business forecasts.

-Analyze competitor activities and develop strategies to enhance the company's market position.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

-Work closely with internal teams (sales, product, marketing, operations) to deliver solutions tailored to key accounts.

-Share best practices, insights, and strategies with the broader sales team to ensure success across all key accounts.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.

Experience:

-Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development in industries such as retail, FMCG.

-Proven track record of managing and growing large, high-value accounts, with a focus on regional accounts.

-Experience working with large, complex clients like Reliance, Metro, Apollo, D-Mart, and MedPlus is highly desirable.

Skills:

-Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

-Ability to think strategically and develop business growth plans.

-Deep understanding of key account management principles and techniques.

-Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
