We are currently seeking a Depositary Receipts (DR) Associate on a contract basis to support our DR Relationship Management Team in BNY Mellon's Mumbai Representative Office. BNY Mellon is the leading depositary bank with 60% market share globally. The candidate would provide relationship management with day-to-day support, client service delivery, administrative tasks, analytical work, market research and ad-hoc projects.   We generally face off with the senior management, investor relations and company secretaries of major companies in the India. Our team expects a high performing and professional individual to start contributing immediately.  - Support the maintenance and execution of client account plans; organization of training and presentation materials for regular client calling efforts; problem resolution or enquiries, in coordination with his/her manager and colleagues in Mumbai, Hong Kong, New York and around the region.  - Monitor service quality levels and act on any signs of client dissatisfaction relating to all products delivered.  - Development of market and competitive intelligence to ensure client retention strategies.   - Help maintain and cultivate good working relationship with local advisors (law firms, IR firms, investment bankers, stock exchanges, regulators, printers, etc.).  - Maintenance of client and advisor database.  - Assist where necessary with operational and transactional enquiries from local custodians.  - Conducting company, industry and country specific research and analysis in preparation for company meetings.  - Conducting market analysis for US, Europe and APAC markets.  - Attending client presentations and providing wrap up that includes summary and suggested method of action.   - Assisting with KYC review and requirements fulfilment.  - Managing logistics of ad-hoc special events.  - Inputting data into proprietary systems and other administrative functions.  Requirements  - Bachelor Degree, Master's Degree Preferred or Professional Qualification  - At least 2 years related experiences   - Previous experience Relationship Management/CRM, Investment Banking, Accounting, Consulting, Private Banking or Wealth Management with a major financial institution  - Investor relations experience is a plus   - Articulate and able to communicate well in written and spoken English; Strong business writing skills   - Ability to utilize analytic tools such as CRM software, Bloomberg, Thomson One, BD Corporate, etc.  - A team-player with good understanding of how team integrates with others and how to work in a complex matrix organization  - Good understanding of procedures with exceptional data analytical skills  - Able to exercise judgement based on practice and precedence  - Good communicator with excellent language  - Well-versed in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint  About BNY Mellon  BNY Mellon is a global investments company dedicated to helping its clients manage and service their financial assets throughout the investment lifecycle.
