Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive credit analysis of corporate borrowers and assess their financial health.
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow, profitability, leverage, and liquidity metrics.
- Prepare detailed credit appraisal notes, credit memorandums, and risk assessment reports.
- Evaluate loan proposals and recommend appropriate credit structures and risk mitigation measures.
- Support syndicated loans, structured finance, leveraged finance, and loan capital market transactions.
- Conduct industry, market, and peer analysis to identify key business and credit risks.
- Review financial models and assess debt servicing capabilities.
- Monitor existing credit exposures and identify early warning signals.
- Coordinate with relationship managers, legal teams, and external stakeholders during transaction execution.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
- Present credit recommendations to internal credit committees and senior management.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and developments in the loan capital markets.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Credit Analysis and Financial Statement Analysis.
- Experience in Loan Capital Markets, syndicated lending, or corporate banking.
- Knowledge of corporate finance, debt instruments, and capital market products.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
- Understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies and rating frameworks.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with syndicated loans, structured finance, or leveraged finance transactions.
- Familiarity with credit rating methodologies and risk management frameworks.
- Exposure to banking regulations and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv, or other financial databases is an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or progress toward these qualifications are preferred.
